Relocating factory rear view camera

my 2014 came w/ factory rear view camera. I replaced the spoiler w/ GT500 spoiler. If I get a license plate camera, can I just splice into my existing wiring harness? Anyone done this?

I love the look of the stock spoiler with the camera for some reason.

I have a camera mounted just above the license plate, and I was just wishing I had that spoiler the other day. The problem is that when it rains, water gets kicked up on that camera location and then the view out of the camera is full of bubbles!
