Redline Hood Struts

OK, I got these and had someone install them......now I notice the drivers side of the hood is pulled down slightly compared to what is was before. I found one person online that had the same issue but didn't see what he did to fix it. Has anyone else seen this? The passenger side is still flush with the fender. Can this be adjusted or do I need to try a different brand? I had read this is supposed to be the best of all of them.

I sent an email to Redline to see if they will address this...I wonder if the strut will "break in" and not pull down so hard after a while. The last thing I want to do is wreck my hood, if need be will just remove them and use the prop rod.

Well, they asked for pictures and said it appears to be installed correctly and that the struts would not be the reason. Just not sure how the hood was aligned with the fender perfectly before they were added and now the drivers side is down a bit......any ideas?

I think you need to adjust the stop at the front of the hood?

I don't think the struts pull down on the hood at all, they only push up to support the hood when it is up, so I don't see how they could be pulling it down
