Thanks SplitSecond. Best thing is, every appearence mod is for the most part undooable. Cept you never get your cash back. This one was a stretch, but I really dig it. The girl that did it, worked her A@@ off. She was a stang lover and wanted it to work.

Thank you for giving me that. I like it...
very 1 off stripe. Tell that girl she did a great job and I love her work. I really enjoy looking at peoples work on body mods when they think out of the box.
Again Thank You sir!!

That striped louver set up is *freaking sweet*.

Worth the time and effort, I'd say!

Thanks guys. Having a few mustang folk like something is better than 100 people on the street liking it. It has created a few smiles already. You know how when people are looking at your car they always start at the front and finish at the rear. Well now is the first time the smile gets bigger at the back end of the car. Same happened to me with a girl I saw yesterday.

Your smile embiggened as you wound up behind her?

Ok, well, I suppose that might be something worth mentioning...

Just read through this thread, and- as with some others- when I saw the concept described in print I was thinking "Danger, Will Robison! Danger!"

Then I saw the pics and thought "You have chosen... wisely!"

That looks REALLY great... I love black Mustangs (when they are owned by someone else- I'm way to OCD to own one- too hard to keep spotless).

Just a note to any '13-14 owners out there, unfortunately the deck panels on our cars have clips that extend INTO the decklid (so if you remove your trim, you'll be looking at a number of holes).

That may be the best looking louver I've seen on a late model Mustang- great job!

Thanks Varilux. Hopefully the update for 13-14 owners will help some people. The entire project I really felt out of the box on this one. We were a little concerned about the srtipes bubbling over the center louver rivits. Three weeks in and humid 90 degree east coast weather, all looks good. One-off mods are scary, i sincerely apprecite your compliment.

And for the record.... I spend as much time cleaning my car as I do driving it. It is a miserable existance ive grown to embrace. It is a way of life.
