Questions about wheels

I have a 2014 GT Premium Conv, standard brakes and 19" X 8.5" wheels.

1) any problems with 9" wide wheels on my existing tires? I don't want new rubber.

2) Can the TPMS sensors be used from my OEM wheels, or would I be better off buying a wheel only kit with sensors and calibrator, and leave my wheels intact as a spare set?

3) will my studs, lug nuts and wheel locks be compatible with the wheel shown below?

I spotted these 19" X 9" Boss 302 wheel only kit with sensors at CJ's for $900 shipped and am considering them. I prefer to "keep it in the family" and like the idea that these are Ford wheels.

Thanks in advance

Tom

I don't know out the first question but I can tell you that I recently upgraded mine and the shop that installed them was able to move my TPMS. The lug nuts and locks will depend on the specs of the new wheels, although they are relatively inexpensive to replace.

You should be able to reuse everything on those wheels, including the tires. When the tires wear out, get a nice set of 275/40s!

1) You have the 245/45/19 the 9 inch wheel is the max size so yes.
2) It is cheaper to buy the set than 1 wheel at a time, so you might as well use the new ones
3) Yes on all, they are OEM Ford wheels
BTW CJ's has them for $900, Levittown Ford has them for $728 and it would be about $60 to ship them to me, you can put them in your cart and and add you Zip and it will update with shipping. http://www.levittownfordsupercenter....rs-p-1443.html

That's a great deal even with shipping. I ordered them already from CJ's but they're back ordered.

I'll call Levittown to see if they're in stock, and then see if i can cancel the CJ order.

Thanks for the info.

Siber Express

I was able to cancel my order with another vendor. The same wheels were back ordered with no ETA. Plus Levittown was over $100 cheaper including the shipping, and I should have them by the end of this week.

Again, I appreciate the heads up.
