I got my hands on the '15 emblem. I just have to sell a few parts so I can pay for the RTR decklid.

It's not for everyone, but I wanted to do something different and I like the clean look of the s550s.

Here's the final mock up

That actually looks good, buddy! Ok, you wow'd me.

Have you thought about the running pony decal/emblem as well? Similar to what Gabe did? Ssssssshhhh don't tell him I actually really like it, or he'll actually think I like his car and then his head will get bigger.

HAHA kidding, I love Gabe's car.

LOL! I actually did the horse mockup right after the Need for Speed movie came out 3 years ago. Personally, I prefer the GT

Looks really good with the GT logo. Usually I'm not a fan of deleting the faux gas cap, but that adds enough to make it look complete.

I wanted to do this, but was afraid that the RTR decklid had too much curve in the middle to let an emblem sit flat. Does it actually fit OK? Looking forward to seeing the finished product

You said what I was thinking since I first read Dave's thread. The curve of the decklid will make it hard for the emblem to sit flush. So Dave, can you enlighten me... when you press the emblem against the RTR surface, does the entire back of the emblem come into contact with the decklid? or do you have to bend it (adhesive hold) the whole time?

I had the same question, but luckily it turns out it sits perfectly. I will be doing the full installation this weekend. I'll include pictures as I put it together.
