New Continental Extreme Contact DW 255/40 19 tires on my nickel wheels (2011 Mustang GT Premium). I thought the new size might have some negative issues (sidewall bulge, look small in wheel-well, vibration, speedometer, etc.). I'm happy to report that I have NONE of these issues. The tires look amazing on the nickel wheels (19 x 8.5), the steering response is quicker, and the feel is great. I'm very happy with my upgrade. Ford Country in Henderson Nevada was awesome, they price-matched the tires (Tire Rack), no shipping, mount & balance, and they recalibrated my speedometer and TPMS. Total price out the door was $1150. I highly recommend this tire size upgrade to anyone with nickel wheels (obviously not for cold and snow). And to be extra nice, Ford slapped on my Shelby GT 500 axle-back mufflers for free! The car is perfect now!

Do you experience any loss of acceleration or maybe more sluggishness with the extra wheel weight?

JESUS! Your car is sexy! Those are one of the first rims I like on our 2010+ cars! They remind me of Ferrari rims. Sexy sexy!

You planning on tinting and dropping her any?

Yes very nice. I've looked into those. Glad someone finally put them on a mustang.

Why are you posting pictures of 19" wheels in a 20" wheel thread?

To BlackMamba03 - I believe that I entered the thread a while ago with information regarding the 19" nickel option. Then when I put on a larger tire size I added photos. Disregard if you only need info about 20s.

Thank you, I first saw them on a 2011 Stang a dealer converted to a Mach 1 and loved them.
