Ordered Boss 302 lower splitter today

Part # is CR3Z-17626-AC
Cost - $150 (www.newfordparts.com has it for $120)

Ordered it today, and the parts rep. said it should take 3-5 days as it's coming directly from the vendor. I'll update this thread as I get it and install it.

Good news is Ford is selling this as an accessory, not as a replacement part.

Tell me about it. If you wanted to get a NISMO 370Z part Nissan required a VIN#.

If you go through the Ford parts site, the same part is almost $300.

Ford will ask for a VIN on some parts, but a quick eBay search will usually get you what you need.

I did manage to find an install sheet for this as well, and I will post it once I get home.

Water impounding structure + n, that is sexy. The CS front valence is on my list of things to buy. So is this now!

Steve, did you notice any predrilled holes in the bottom of the CS spoiler when you installed it?

No I did not. I also didn't notice any marks where it needs to be drilled. The install instructions call for drilling of the fascia if installed on a GT.

It's really not a bad deal at $320 for both the CS lower (without fogs) and the Boss 302 splitter. Totally changes the front end of the car.

That's a good price, glad to know it won't break the bank if I break one on a parking block. Already lost 1 CDC Classic like that!

Sounds like they're pretty easy to swap out too if you smack it into something. Just a few bolts and push pins to remove and replace.

Steve:
Have you ordered from them before? Was just wondering, as the website is nothing fancy... but what counts is their prices and their service. Prices seem definitely great, but was wondering about customer service, timely shipping, shipping costs, etc.? Do you mind me asking what they charge you for shipping the splitter?

Thanks for posting the install instructions... great help!!! Did anyone notice that they actually throw out a splitter in Step 2 (for 2012 Boss)? Guess somebody at Ford was already calculating that one or the other will hit the curb or is going through a dip or two... Just funny!

BTW... looks like newfordparts.com also has the mudflaps for a really decent price... $ 39.00 for the pair!
