Hmm, grind down brake brackets? Which in turn means, alter the integrity of your brakes? Seems like a bit of a risk just to have bigger rotors. I know the rear brakes aren't stressed as much as the fronts but I'm no engineer.

Pretty much how I felt. I'd rather just buy the correct brackets and have my stock stuff for parting out later.

Then you need the GT500 calipers as Ford doesn't sell those brackets without the caliper

Is this not all we'd need to bolt them on?

Thanks Breck. I appreciate it.
Yeah,...the open wheel design does make the rears look tiny and weak I will agree there. Not only will the car look better, but it will stop better as well. Keep us posted man!

Yes you need that, but you still need to grind down your brackets. If you don't the disk will do that for you

I had originally looked into the GT500 rear upgrade and yes, it saves you about $200 but there is WAY MORE than $200 worth of work required to do that upgrade compared to the Baer Eradispeed +2 kit. (pulling diff gears, axles, hopefully not damaging seals)
The Baer kit can be done start to finish in under an hour taking your time to do both sides. The GT500 is an all day project.
About 2min into the video they do the rears. SUPER easy, good quality/looks/function.

I definitely agree with that. It took me 5 hours to install mine. I was also looking at the Bear rear brake upgrade, but then decided to go OE, as you have more choices on rotors...

Wonder if 13.8" GT500 rear rotors would fit with the Baer brackets? I emailed Baer to see if they sell the brackets alone. (doubt they do tho)

That's kills your fake boss 302 look.
LOL, yeah, all the "fake" stuff on this car still adds up to 636 *** whipping rwhp.
