Only Mustang with these wheels

Never have bought any expensive wheels on any of our cars. Usually get good looking wheels at a good price. We had SVE Drifts, which are a great wheel at a really good price for mustangs. While looking for some wheels that would be totally different and still look good, I found some that I really liked. To be honest, what I was finding was that there were just a few designs that each company made their own model of. Forge Star/Saleen style, GT500/F14 style, SVE Drift styles and a few others, but all are seen every day on so many mustangs. I came across an American built sports car (the Rezvani Beast) that had a set of wheels that I had never seen until I did some research. They were made by PUR and they had a cool mechanical look as they are directional. I mocked up them in photoshop on our car and the more I looked the more I liked them. They are definitely outside of the box and some people dont like them at all which I understand. I found a US Dealer and after some negotiating, got a deal that worked. They had to be made for the car, as they are not stocked wheels and none especially for a Mustang. I got 10's in the rear and 9.5 in the front. Being forged aluminum, they are stupid light yet stronger than the heavier wheels we took off. We went ahead and changed the rotors and installed Hawk HPS pads before we took it to have the tires swapped on the wheels. Now, with this open design, it exposes how tiny the rear rotors really are. Thinking the Baer 14" rear rotor & caliper relo brackets will be a big improvement over the 11.8" rear rotors.

Those look awesome, they seem similar to the Lamborghini Veneno wheels. What offsets did you go with and did they end up costing similar to same as Forgestar or are they more expensive?

They primarily are used on Lambo's, they make a Limited Edition RS05 for the Adventador. They have the same offset as stock Boss 302 Laguna Seca wheels
  • 169.3 mm backspacing front, 187.5 mm backspacing rear
  • 42 mm offset front, 47.5 mm offset rear
With this offset and backspacing, they are not too convave and we can go quite a bit wider with our rears now than we are right now. (285 now, can prob fit 305's now)
They ended up being more than the Forgestar's.

Cool wheels! Nice to see something different. I think that's the best kind and color of mustang they could have gone with. Well done!

Killer stance man!
What rotors are you currently running?
Baer makes a killer brake set-up. Big bucks, but you get what you pay for.

Running Brakenetic drilled & slotted rotors with Hawk pads. I am going to get the Baer Eradispeed Plus rear brake kit with 14" rotors. The open design of these wheels make the OEM rear 11.8" rotors look like a bicycle disc brake.

I'm just going to do the GT500 rears from Rehagen. Only 13.8" but much cheaper, for an aesthetic mod.

No need to buy a kit. The only thing you need is the discs, the adapter plates and a file to grind down 3mm of the caliper bracket. No more than $260..

I have a complete write up of the whole install... Including the section to grind down the brackets, as they only need to be grinded at the outer edges.
