Steeda Spyder wheels are 20", wider, lighter and have a better offset.

Can you provide the tech to back up the claim that the Steeda Spyder wheels are lighter and have a better offset and also define exactly what you mean by better offset?

Also don't forget you are comparing a forged to a cast wheel and IMHO the Spyders look like ***.

The wheels are the exact same color as the stock PP wheels for those that asked.

I agree. I have a hard time believing that Steeda's cast wheels are better in any regard when compared to Ford Racing's forged wheels. The offset on these wheels look excellent; perhaps he was referring to the RTR wheels? I wouldn't say the Steeda Spyders look like crap, but I definitely prefer the aesthetics of these Ford Racing wheels. And, finally, I feel that a 10" wide rear wheel is better-suited and better-looking on this platform, too, as opposed to an 11" wide rear wheel, but that's just my personal preference.

So I really was thinking very hard about buying a set of these next year. But then I found a huge deal on a set of 19" 2010 GT500's, so I got those instead.

It was pure luck...

I told Jim you'd be jealous.

And to think he actually had to think about buying them.

Man I'm late to the party lol
I just started looking at wheels and low and behold these are the very wheels I'm thinking about going with.

I've narrowed it down to a few wheels including these and the Alcoa Super snakes and the much cheaper FRPP black track package wheels.

It sure is hard deciding on wheels but I'll take my time and make sure I get what I really want.

Frank those look killer how bout you join us on our next run so I can see them in person

Hey all.

I had switched to a set of OE '10 GT500 coupe wheels/tires, for about a year, from the original setup. They were a welcome improvement.

I was lucky enough to happen upon the '11 SVT PP set that Shaun was moving for Dean at Rehagen. Nice hardware and slightly lighter than the '10 (and '09) set.

Regarding the FRPP wheel - these are a great buy considering that they're an OE quality forging available at a very reasonable price. My fingers are crossed that FRPP will:

- offer them in a polished version

- offer a 19" x 11" rear

Their construction simply begs for a polishing and I think that it would really bump the wheel up to the next level. And while the move to a 10" was a nice gesture, little in terms of wider rubber is possible. It has been well documented that an 11" (and sometimes wider) wheel will fit (minor bumpstop bracket trimming/shock boot removal). These cars, when given proper underhood "enhancement" deserve nothing less than a 315 to 335 out back.

Hopefully, someone at FRPP keeps their ears to the ground...

Could always get them powdercoated to your liking. Black chrome on Kona = drool. Now you've got me thinking...

Anyone tried or can photoshop these on a 2010+ V6? Just wanted to see what the car would look like overall.

all I have easy access to is the shipping weight but that includes the box and all the packing material, so thats kinda useless. I can say though that these are lighter then the Boss S/Laguna Seca of the same sizes (shipping weight to shipping weight)
