New FRPP 19x9 & 19x10 SVT Wheels
#21
You guys realize we're talking about 19" FORGED wheels, right? Go price out some Volks, HREs, Works, or some other aftermarket forged wheel in our size. They'll easily be $7-800 on average. $500 each is a steal, plus you know the quality is there coming from the manufacturer.

That's way beyond my budget... I think I'll stick with my Brembo wheels. If I ever get sick of the look, I might go with the RTR wheels, which look really sharp IMO.

HMMM - Same look as production rear wheel on 2011 Mustang SVT?
2011 MUSTANG SVT REAR WHEEL
P# M-1007-SA1910*
Fits 2005-2011 Mustang GT
Fits 2007-2011 Mustang SVT
Forged aluminum
5-lug, 4.5" bolt circle
19" x 10" wide
Same look as production rear wheel on 2011 Mustang SVT
Includes SVT center cap
Fits M-2300-S Brake Kit
Thoughts of swapping out my 20x9.5 for 19x10 in the rear are running through my head! With 285's on the 9.5 rim, how wide can we go on the 10' rim? Can we go 305?
I think I'd also like to have the same diameter rim front and rear as well and I'd only have to buy the two rear rims. I'm gonna need to make some phone calls on these rims... I'd hate to buy them and they not match my front OE 19x9.5s

On a 19X10 inch wheel you can go as wide as a 295/35/19 tire, a 305 is possible but I'm not sure I'd want to push it. The SVT front wheel is 19X9 so it's not as wide as the rim you currently have on the front. The only problem I see with the SVT wheels is your tire choices are going to be limited. For example just doing a quick search the only tire I found in the 295/35/19 size is the BFG KDW's and they don't have a large enough tire for the front. On my 2007 GT I had 18X9's in the front with a 255/40/18 and 18X10 with a 295/35/18 in the rear and the car looked sick!!!

Like Overboost said, $500/wheel is not a bad price for forged. If you're okay with a non-forged wheel, then look at the RTR's($300) 19x9.5 but not available in silver.

I dunno about putting SVT wheels on a GT. Could lead to something far more sinister like putting on Cobra badges, then GT 500 stickers etc. Who knows how far such a perversion would go.
disclaimer:
This is only a joke, please don't get wrapped around the axle. I like the wheels, but I'm going with 20's because 19's doesn't offer as many tire choices.

I love all types of mesh style wheels, but not a fan of these for a few reasons. I think they are bit too flat and remind me of the VW RC wheels.
Price could be disputed and name brand wheels usually command name brand prices. Who and where are the SVT PP wheels made? Those are the type of questions you got to ask yourself before spending $2K on a set of any type of wheels.
Here's something else I'll like to note, and that is that Forged doesn't always mean light weight it's just a process of how the wheel is made and that is built to withstand lots of stress.

Nice, thanks!
The rear 20s are a bit much for me, but the 19s look great

Not right this second, but I'm working on putting together my budget for next year. Also there are only a handful of wheels that I really like.
My first choice would be a set of Roush Trak Pak wheels (already own a set for track use), but they're no longer in production and very hard to come by.
Could get the chrome 06-09 Roush Stage 3 wheels (chrome version of Trak Pak wheel), but 1) they are chrome, and 2) they're just as expensive as the BOSS302R wheels.
Next choice would be the BOSS302R wheels, but they are spendy, and not dark color like I'd like for my car (Tungsten). They are very light for an 18x10, however, only 20lbs! Haven't seen em on an 05-09 car yet, which makes a go/no-go difficult.
SVTPP wheels look great, but since they're 19s any hope of me reusing them as a second set of track wheels later on is gone (no offerings of reputable race tires in 19" sizes)
RTRs might work, but again the 19" concern.

Those Boss302R wheels only come in 18's ! I'm thinking of changing my RTR's. I know, i'm up to my second set of wheels on a 800 mile car. What can i tell ya'. I like change, with my car mods that is.
