Need some opinions on wheels.

Ok I need some opinions here. I have 2 sets of Rims that i can possibly get off Craigslist this week. I like the way they both look but one set is more disirable visually while the other set is the sizes i really want. They will be going on my 2011 Kona Blue Stang.

The second pictured rims have the staggered look that i want. They are 20x9 in the front with 20x10 in the back. They have some curb rash but im not too concerned with that since they are used and I know what to expect. I also like the dark color. The also came off an 08 Mustang and had a picture of them on the car in the ad.

The first pictured rims need no introduction. I love the look of them and they are Shelby Razors. Which we all know look great on Mustangs. But they arent staggered. 20x9 all the way around.

Which is why i come to yall. Im on the fence with these and could use some ideas.

I would love to but i just dont have the capital to go with those right now. Rather than wait i would like something a little better than stock for now. I can get both sets for the same price, $500.00. Plus the Razors have 2 tires, but i dont know how much tread they have. The picture doesnt show the tread. But i know for $600 more i can put some Nittos all the way around and have a better looking set of rims than stock for now. Thanks for the response though. I am leaning a little more toward the Razors.

Not sure. I would imagine based off the look it would probably be 255/35/20's but im not too concerned about the tires. I would imagine the tread may not be too good. New rubber all around will more than likely be necessary. Im going to email him again and see if i can get some more pics.

I wouldnt get the razors since they are not staggered...the other ones look OK as long as the curb rash isn't too severe...

I've rushed into purchases before because I thought I could settle and be good with it...then I end up saving and buying what I wanted in the first place, spending more money than I had too. I'm just saying, be a little patient and maybe you will find exactly what you're looking for within your budget. Before I bought those Razors, I'd buy a set of new take off wheels from a Brembo package on a forum for cheap... just my .02...good luck on your decision

I see. Yeah im not a big fan of the Brembo wheels. I like the Razors look more than the others for sure but the staggered setup is what i really want. Still for the price either set would probably be less than what i have seen people selling the OEM wheels on the forums classifieds page and Ebay. I appreciate the advice though, thats why i came here.

I wouldn't buy a rim with road rash unless it was really cheap and I liked the rim.

Well i didnt actually buy either of the ones in these pics. I ended up getting the Foose Nitrous wheels on the pics. I traded my stockers for them and the guy gave me $300 So i bought 2 new tires for the rear and ended up buying 2 tires for the fronts a month later so they would all be new. So i have even with the paint i used to paint the middles about $450 invested in them. I think it was an excellent deal. Not a bad deal really. Down the road I may go a different direction but im just happy I didnt have to spend $1000 or more on wheels and tires.
