~ LED Brake Light Bulbs!?

I am trying to get some replacement bulbs for my taillights and want LED ones.
I am seeing a few different options on VLEDs..which ones do I buy and will I need a resistor!?
Should I get the White bulbs or the Red ones...the taillights are already red and stock bulbs are clear.

Has anyone tried this yet!?

If you are in this section, you already have LED bulbs. And just because they look clear, doesn't mean they are clear. LED bulbs have different reflective properties than regular halogen bulbs - you need to buy "red" bulbs for taillights. You can't see the color on LED bulbs until they light up.

Your stock bulbs are LED.

^ How about the reverse bulbs? Too lazy to go check but i want HID white reverse bulbs instead of the ugly yellow-white.

Reverse bulbs are not LED, nor are the license plate bulbs. You can go to the Sylvania website and look at the bulb types there for replacement numbers.

Same as the RAXIOM ones at half the cost! Currently out of stock though...

Owners manual may state this info.

how much time a day do you spend in reverse for it to matter, out of curiousity? Sounds like wasting money just to waste it.

For those who have tinted windows, an LED bulb upgrade done properly would do wonders for rearward visibility.

My driveway is curved and my truck sits in the driveway on the left side...
So, my 20% tinted windows and early am darkness makes things sketchy when in reverse.
