Wondering if anyone has put over the top stripes on a Kona blue that ARE NOT white. I know this seems to be "the norm" but I was thinking maybe along the lines of sterling silver or gun metal grey.

I like the white but I feel it's like advertising your presence to all especially the cops Comments welcome!

I have white stripes and you might think its the norm, but the 2011 500 produced more silver stripes than white. The police do notice and the only thing they do is give me the thumbs up.

 

I've got the white stripes but I think black would look pretty sweet.

 

I saw a Kona Blue 2011 GT500 with red stripes the other day. It was quite striking, actually.

 

My buddy has flat black OTT stripes on his Kona GT.

 

Any chance of getting some pics??

 

I have thought about gloss black or gray.
