Installed! Black ARM Wheels on Sterling GT/CS

I spent months trying to decide what color and style would go well with Sterling. Finally landed on black and pulled the trigger; I absolutely love it! I've also lowered it 1" with FRPP "P" Springs.

Those were the other wheels I was considering. They look really good with the S197. I ended up going with the 5-star look...Rohana RC22.

Any issues with balancing.....I keep wanting to get those wheels in charcoal, but my last try on another car with aftermarket wheels was a nightmare...never could get them balanced to remove vibrations, tried several different places, even did road force balance....finally just went back to factory wheel. I really like the staggered look, the back tires are wider than I thought they would be...really like them.

If they're out of balance I can't tell-- no noticeable vibrations and I'm generally really sensitive to that type of thing.

I have read, however, that some people received these wheels from AM out of balance (some reported that they could see where weights USED to be but came off). No such issues with mine.

If you have problems getting wheels/tires balanced, ask the shop to do a "spin balance". This is where they spin the tire around the wheel until the heaviest parts oppose each other, then add a very minimal number of weights to make up the rest if needed. Did this on my truck with oversize tires and I had to do a little convincing to make them do it.

Yeah, I am VERY sensitive to vibrations (and rattles, etc!!!)...I have none with the stock factory wheels/tires which makes me hesitate to change them out.....

This.

I got the same wheels in 20" charcoal and love them too. No issues with vibrations and I worried about this too. Esp as in my haste I forgot to remove the little retainer ring from the one stud on all of the wheels. I knew they were there, but forgot to remove them. Even then, no vibrations at all, and I kind of notice that sort of thing. You DEFINITELY notice all the extra tread on the pavement though, esp up front. Little bit of a "squishy" feel.

Zero complaints though, love the wheels.
