Question How to remove the rear side marker lenses?

I've searched here, on Google, I've seen some pics that say to use a thin flat-blade screwdriver and access the back of the lens, I've tried it several times and can't make the lens come out.

I know I have my retarded moments, but I don't wanna break the lens or damage the paint.

So, does anybody have any pointers on how to make this happen?

Thanks in advance

Pull the interior fender panel out after removing a couple screws and you can use your hand to get one side out by pushing the tab and then the other side will come out. I don't recommend using anything hard from the outside as I Knicked the opening a little and was pretty pissed. I even used a towel under the blade. Its a tight fit to get your arm up in there but its worth it in the end.

Even the plastic type tools for removing interior panels don't help in removing these outer lenses.
I like the idea of removing some of the screws that hold the inner fender plastic and pushing the lens out that Stevedotmil suggests.

Remove the two screws on the edge of the rear fender. Pull gently to loosen the rear fascia, then reach up and push the rear markers out by hand. Note that they're hinged; one side hooks and the other swings into place.

Thanks dude, this it the option I chose, only on my car it was 3 screws at the front of the bumper cover, right behind the rear tire, and the 2 plastic push-pins at the bottom of the bumper cover, then I did the lightly-pulling-out-the-side-of-the-bumper-cover thing, giving me just enough space to reach back there and push the lens out from the back.

Less than 5 minutes per side, including re-securing the bumper cover.

Stock lenses are now in the process of being tinted

The pass side lens after I popped it out:
