HID for 13/14 CS Fog lights

Trying to decide what way to go, who has them and what did you go with.

Is the 4300K good for our car or is it to yellow?

I am looking at these 2 so far.

I went with 5k kit from hid wholesale. I think they have a little more of a blue tint over the headlights. I wouldn't recommend buying from them since I had to replace one of my ballast. Also, like many others I had firing issues were only one would light up at times, but since I changed the ballast all is good.

Go LED instead. Less issues and much easier install. Get the XML2s from Diode Dynamics. 4300k to match the headlights exactly.

I like the XML2s, may end up going this way. Do you have them on your car? Just wondering if they just as bright as the stock ones.

I don't but others do. They're a lot brighter than stock. I'm running DD LEDs in every other bulb on my car though, and I'm going to add the CS fogs with their XML2s eventually. I'll be doing the yellow bulbs though.

Check out my thread on the XML2 LED bulb review for the California Special fogs. These are the way to go, and a lot easier install than a HID kit.

Thanks for the link, I am planning on going with these for sure.

Great write up, I was trying to decide what one to go with but seeing the pictures of all three helped. I think going with the 5000K was a good choice, looks great.
