I installed the hood strut kit from mmd they are 13 in when extended.. I need to replace the leaking struts been over a year so no warranty. I need to get a Part number for the struts so i can purchase replacement. I found the size just need to know the force 59lb,69lb,109lb or is it something else?

can't you just look in American Muscle for replacement?

Then get Autozone to advise you on the correct part. If they can't or won't, buy a new set wherever you wish.

Hey Var - Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with them. We're they purchased 2nd hand/used?

We're unfortunately unable to have them sold individually but I'm happy to have a quote set up for you on a heavily discounted new set.

Drop me a line/PM and I'm here to help any way I can.

So you are telling me that your company has no idea what the specs on the hood struts are? There are companies that sell just the struts but the specs would help. They do not last forever and it makes no sense to have to buy a whole kit when all we need are the struts. Why not just sell the struts? Bad business IMO

toss the mmd in the garbage (where they belong really) and buy a Redline kit, quality is far and away better

I don't see anything special about the Redlines either. I like the MMD style, where a bracket is mounted onto the hinge to hold the strut. I do not like the strut mounted directly to the aluminum hood.
