Headlight/Foglight covers

Has anyone ordered the headlight or foglight covers for their car? Its seen/sold here. http://www.americanmuscle.com/2010-m...ht-covers.html. I was curious with these covers how well does the light shine thru? Are you still able to see things in the road? Is there less visibility?

Of course there's less visibility. You're tinting the headlights.

Do yourself a favor, and don't tint your headlights. They're illegal, and why would you want to see LESS of the road?

I would assume that he would just be tinting the fog lights.

I have 50% fog tints from Headlight Armor. http://www.headlightarmor.com/

you can do darker 30 and 20. But I use the lights quite often, and I just wanted to tone down the glaring white that houses the bulbs.

50% is more subtle but gets the job done for me. Have had them for over a year now and they held up great.

The covers are vulgar and don't really look that great IMO.

I have the covers over the tail lights right now and I like that more than the actual tints. But being illegal doesn't effect me. I was looking to see how much visibility is lost? Right now the car is black all tinted basically murdered but I wanna be able to see the road

Just had mine tinted today, headlights fogs and tail lights. also a black pony emblem. The HID lights are powerful enough to give plenty of driving light it's definitely less but about the same as regular headlights. I know why take away from the HIDs when you paid for them. It's definitely a trade off but it just looks so sick. Here's a couple cell phone pics, sorry for the poor quality.

Yea see I like how that turned out. I feel it would look sick on my black car as well. But unfortunately I don't have HIDS n I want to make sure I can see oncoming road debris or road hazards.

Any pics at night with the fogs on? Im looking at doing the black chrome pony and fog light tint just to darken the grille area. Not planning on doing the headlights or tail lights.

Stay away from tint. Use Xpel protection film for headlights. It has a super low impedance on light transmission and provides decent smoking. I have them on my car.
