Has anyone bought these sides scoops?

I picked up these side scoops from American Muscle (http://www.americanmuscle.com/xenon-...oops-2010.html). My buddy has the same ones on his 07 GT and I loved the look. I saw the pics on the American Muscle website and I liked it but was a little iffy. Now that I have them in hands im a little more iffy. I was wondering if anyone bought these? If so you got pics? I saw the pics on their site but I am looking for new/better pics before I pay to have these side scoops painted.

I personally hate those... They look like tacky extra custom pieces out of a model car kit... Stick with something closer to factory style if you are gonna do this.

I on the other hand have seen them on several stangs and IMO look great. I like the way they follow the fender line which makes them blend and look like they belong.

I don't like them, I think they look to aftermarket, unless you have a fee other mods to go with it I don't think it would be that good looking, I like the stock one better but to each his own

This is my old yellow 05 and my buddies 07. I liked them but I don't know how they would look on a newer body style.

Yes I like the on the 07 body line but I'm unsure about the 11 body line. I'm not a fan of the factory side scoops. I'm leaning toward selling these (for $110) and going with nothing. I'm happy with the look just kinda wanted something that went with the body line.

I think what catches my eye is the top is squared off.
so its like a little shelf almost. the OEM ones have a slight slant to them which i guess doesnt make them stand out as much.

But your right the pic American Muscle has on the white stang looks good since your seeing it head on, but once you see it from other angles that's where i think its looks a little weird.

But its your ride bro, so if you like it go with it

What I really want does not exist. Which is a mix of these and the factory ones. Like you said the top is squared off. If u take the factory ones and about 2-3 inches from the top it squares off to above the wheel well. That's what I want. But I think you all helped me decide to sell unless American muscle will take them back without a restocking fee.
