I ordered dark grey super snake for my car. I liked the subtly on the matte black, but I wanted it slightly more visible. They might be here tomorrow. I'll snap a pic if they do.

I'm not sure yet. If I can find a shop to do it for ~200, I'll let them do it. If not, I'll try and tackle the challenge. I just just bought a tuner and I'm getting 3.73 gears in the spring, so I'm "trying" to cut my mod costs.

Good luck cutting back on the mods. I still have to put my springs in when it warms up a bit. Just ordered a MGW shifter, and oil separator. Not done just yet though ...

I did mine in the garage. Yours should be a little easier since yours are pre-cut for the sections. I had to do mine on the fly. Here's the thread. If you need pointers let me know. I think I did a lessons I learned post on the thread.

Once you get the hang of it and have the process down it's rather easy. The kit I got had a ton of extra material and I actually had to do the hood two times because I let the water sit too long when I was getting the backing material wet to be able to pull it off. When I started pulling the paper came off and left the glue on the stripes. Sticky mess and I got pissed and just ripped it off. I probably could have just gotten the glue off but I was hasty and then while I was drinking a beer taking a break I realized that probably wasn't the best decision. It took me two days of just kind of tinkering and it turned out great.

Thanks. I'm going to read over it again and see if there is anything I potentially left out. This is a habit I picked up after the English class I recently took. I'm glad that someone is thinking about tackling this project after reading my write-up. I'm not scared to do new things like the Audi S4 brakes I just helped a guy I know with. I have never even touched that car before. Life is an adventure. Embrace it.

Right on brother. I was a little apprehensive ripping the rear bumper off and hacking it up for the Boss diffuser install. After getting it all put back together i was really glad i did it. Life definitely is an adventure. Can't wait to see the stripes on dfinks car. It's gonna look great.

Ah yes the snow. Sorry assumed you were one of those lucky warm climate types. I just placed an order for some of the same stripes but will likely wait until spring to put them on. To damp and cold right now.

What about doing the SS stripes in a darker gray/silver color like tungsten? Will show up better than the satin black but not be as obvious as the silver.
Oops, never mind. I just saw at the end of the thread you went with the SS stripes. D'oh!
