Gap from door to side scoops

Anyone know the oem gap from door to side scoops? I've seen some where they are butted up against a door and some with around an inch back from the door. Looking for the OEM gaping

Thanks
Brian

They are easy to remove and reapply. If the gap bugs you then consider it.

I haven't put then on yet. I have been test fitting to see where they need to go. I didn't know the proper location from the factory since I haven;t been able to find any info on line or templates on where to place.

Oh ok. Well in that case check out YouTube American muscle video on installing them. The main thing is that they are aligned with the top body line. There is a slight gap always because the end tips of the scoops and how they fit on the body. Even if you tried to butt the scoops flush against the door, you'd still have a gap because of the "C" shape of them. Hope that makes sense.

If this doesn't help, send me a pm to remind me to measure the gap on mine. Mine are factory installed on my GT CS.
