The only thing I don't like is the caps. Swapping out the FRPP caps for a set of the Brembo "running pony" caps and it'd look killer.
Do we know that the other caps fit?

Good because I don't like the SVT or FRPP caps.

Me either. If I can get the chance next time I'm at the shop, ill see if Shaun has that wheel around and can test fit a different cap for ya.

COYOTEHP switched his FRPP caps on the 302LS rims for the tri-bar pony in post 57. I'm pretty sure I read a thread on this site that its a set size since the '05 model and any caps since then are interchangable.

You're probably right but those are the LS/302S wheels not the SVTPP.

Yea, I could have sworn I read somewhere on here that all center caps from Ford Wheels from the '05 year onward were interchangeable, but still best to make sure (cuz I would definitely want to switch them).

Couldn't find the quote about the years the caps being interchangeable since '05 but there is another thread on the SVTPP wheels and montreal ponies has a set on his car and from the pictures he has the tri-bar cap on them.

Eric, thanks for posting the photo. I didn't doubt you but the SVTPP wheels have a different looking cap and center of the wheel so I thought there might be a possibility they were different.

haha just kidding

No problem Rick, I wanted to check and make sure for myself too because the 302LS and SVTPP wheels are the two sets that I am looking at for my 'eventual' street set-up and plan on adding the Brembo Center Caps like on my OEM brembo wheels. I want to stick with the Brembo cap instead of the tri-bar because the grille emblem on the GT is just the pony, not the tri-bar like on the Boss. I'm still looking forward to hearing back from Steve though just to make 100% sure on this!

Already looking at things to add to may car and I don't even have it yet lol production line in two weeks though

Funny I want the tri bar caps even for my standard Boss wheels. The cars at the Boss intro last August had the tri bar caps but the production cars don't. Because the tri bar is used on the grill and gas cap I want them. Thanks for that link as that's the cheapest I've seen those caps.

I want simple Ford Oval center caps, with actual blue ovals. Any one seen anything that would work on these wheels?

Do you have an example of these caps? If the others fit those should fit too.

I stopped by a local dealer that always has GT500's on their lot with the SVT PP option. I've seen these wheels before but now that I'm seriously thinking about buying a set they look even better than I remember. I would prefer them to be a bit lighter in color, more like the BBP wheels, but I think they will look killer on any Mustang and should do the trick on a KB Boss 302. Now to find the best pricing on a set.

Here are a couple of photo's of the FRPP 19" x 9" version of the SVTPP forged rim.

The color is close to the SVTPP rim but it's a little different. Sorry for the poor photo's but it's non stop raining here in Mi.

The FRPP rims come with a "Ford Racing" center cap but the " SVT " caps from an 03-04 Cobra work perfect Part # 2M5Z-1130-AA.

The tri-bar caps from an 02-04 Mustang (and a lot of other Fords) also work but stick up about a 1/16th of an inch. Part # 1R3Z-1130-AA

The Brembo " running pony " caps will not work with this wheel but I would bet they would with the FRPP Boss 302 LS wheel.

Have you tried the BBP caps to confirm or deny that they'll fit? I saw that Dan has the tri-bar ones on his SVT PP wheels.

Weird, if the tri-bar ones fit i would think the brembo ones would as well as the two of those are interchangeable, right?
