strong as hell though. these are street wheels after all. The difference between a 20lb race wheel and a 30lb street wheel (on the street) isn’t a big deal. You will NEVER notice the difference in handling. the shock and spring package from the factory is setup to control that amount of weight. And the difference in fuel economy is inconsequential
Keep in mind these wheels are HUGE compared to wheels of yester-year. I remember when a 17x9 was mind blowing!

weight wise the only thing I has access here at my desk (I am at my other job right now) is the shipping weight from FRPP, but that includes all the packing material..........
the SVTPP wheels' shipping weight is lower then the Boss S when you compare 9" to 9" and 10" to 10"

I want to bolt a set of 302R1 BBS wheels on my car, Ive been meaning to do it when at the shop for like 9 months, I should probably do that......
I saw where it said machined but both cast and forged wheels can be machined for the finish. These have the machined finish for the front face so when they say "machined" it isn't necessarily alluding to how they were made and I didn't see anywhere that it actually said "cast" or "forged".
The SVTPP wheels say forged yet they are not light but they look pretty sweet.
Preference is going to come down to $, which style you prefer.

I really like the SVTPP wheels but I'm still not sure how the gunmetal color will look on Kona Blue.

I'd love to try them, but I'll probably end up with the SVTPP wheels. I've thought about sending my stock Brembo wheels to Weldcraft wheels for widening since I do like them... but I like the SVTPPs more.
Including the TE37, Volk makes a bunch of beautiful wheels I think would go with the Mustang. Such as the following:

I would easily put down the money on some Ray's Wheels, even if they were track only wheels.

Definitely. I love the Volks. The TE37 is a classic. I was going to order the SL's for my 370 but ended up getting the 5.0. I'd have to see how the fitment would be, but if everything lined up right they'd look awesome on a 5.0!
That picture of the kona blue with the SVTPP rims is what got me wanting those rims as well! Im still torn between the SVTPP wheels and the 302LS wheels. I've seen pictures of both on kona blue and both look really good (as long as the centercap is switched to black brembo pony or black tri-bar pony instead of the silver frpp centercap IMO). One of those sets will be my street wheels (when i can finally make up my mind!) and am planning on the 18x9.5 SVT wheels for the track.

My thought is to get the gloss black off of the car and that includes adding a TruCarbon GT500 rear spoiler. I don't think the gloss black looks good with the white stripe package.
