Ford accessory foglight install

I purchased the accessory foglights for the bumper on my 2013 V6 mustang. I was looking through the instructions, and it seems that you just tap into power wires, no switch was provided.

The kit came with the following:

2 foglights with bulbs already installed
2 bezels for the bumper
2 brackets which seem to hold the lights in place
2 connectors for the bulbs, 2 bare wires attached
4 pieces of heat shrink tubing

According to the instructions there are 16 screws, I haven't found them yet

Anybody install this kit?

I did. on my GT. i obviously tapped into my stock GT wiring. the screws hold the backside of the bezels w/ fogs to the front side of the assy.

Did you get them from Starkey products? If not, you should have.

Looks like the intention with this kit is to cut the connectors for the GT fogs off and throw everything away...stupid!

I will install them, and purchase the upper gt grill fog kit from starkey and tie these into their wiring, seems like the best approach.

Danielle, so did you tap into your GT fog wires and are now running both sets of lights through the stock wires? I've installed the bumper fogs but have hesitated to wire them into the GT fog light wires because I was worried I might overload the wires. I was thinking about maybe using a relay kit to lessen the load on the primary wires.

Its illegal to have that many lights, but I ditched the stock grille for the California Special front end treatment.

I have both my lower and upper fogs. They look badass. I couldn't find any laws in Jersey and never been pulled over in the 4 months of having them installed. The bottom ones aren't very bright.

I ordered my lower fog light kit from Levittown ford and I don't see the screws with it? Can anyone confirm this? I do see screws in te actual fog light assembly but not any screws to attach the fog light bezels to the inside of the bumper.

The OEM blanks in the bumper were held in with clips only. When installing the bumper fogs, the blanks are unclipped and new pieces with openings for the lights are snapped into those same clips. Then the lights are put in place, with the screws (3 or 4 per side IIRC) providing extra security. So yes you do need the screws.

The screws where in a bag inside one of the boxes that contained the actual lamp housing.
