Do they not make the "Eleanor" style center fog light grill for the '13 GTs yet?

Just curious. I really like that look.

Yeah I guess the word is that they decided that it was too ugly of a look to keep going for another 10 years past the release of gone in 60 seconds, that they decided to not do it anymore.

Ugly?

I don't know that I'd ever seen one before I did mine except in pictures. I've seen three now in past two weeks.

It's not an "Eleanor"-style grille. The styling is based on the early 1967 GT-500 driving light arrangement. "Eleanor's driving lights are center mounted, but they are mounted below the bumper. I don't understand why people keep referring to this grille option as an "Eleanor" grille, especially when an actual "Eleanor" style arrangement is available from Cervini's (except for the '13s of course).

Your only option right now if you want the center-mounted fog lights is to change over to a 10-12 front end *and* hood.

Since the '13 front end is (apparently) nothing more than the front end used on the 10-12 Shelby, the aftermarket has, IMHO fallen down on the job by not having something ready for the '13s by now. Of course, I have a Cervini's Type 4 ram air hood on my car, and they STILL don't have a ram air kit available for it.

I see the Eleanor style fogs from Cervinis. And I see the Eleanor style front end kit from Cervinis. But i don not see the eleanor style grille /fogs from Cervinis. Does this mean that I would have to buy the entire front end kit to just get the grille/fogs?

I believe so. I read a message from someone else that tried to get the lower rear fascia from Cervini's and they won't sell it separate from the rest of the rear fascia. I don't care for the look myself, so I've never investigated it.

Because, as you pointed out when I made the post about mine, they're marketed as an Eleanor style grille. That may not make it right, but it is what it is, and most folks seem to understand. Maybe you oughta shoot 3dCarbon an Email and get them to change their marketing lingo. Just sayin'.

Just because they market it that way doesn't mean we have to perpetuate it.

I agree with jsimmons. Eleanor doesn't have grill mounted fog lights. Just say you're looking for a center mounted fog light grill. Who ever is doing the marketing isn't doing a very good job.
