Yes I have a V6, yes I took off the bumper, No I didn't use a jack or ramps why, because halfway through taking the screws from the bottom it dawned on me that I forgot to... but I got through it just fine took me about an hour ( I move slow in the cold)

FYI, you can just yank your grille right off the car with the bumper attached. upper and lowers just yank right off

On the V6? Are you sure both pieces are seperate? I know that's the case for us V8's, but I thought the sixxers has to do some cutting or bum over removal to replace they're grille pieces.

bumpers are identical on everything but the shelby. something about the outer piece is diff on a V6, i don't know the specifics.

The V6 has a different grille support. So grilled for the GT obviously don't fit. And from what I heard, Significantly more annoying to change a grille on a v6 than a v8

You can change grills on a 2014 without taking the bumper off?

Took me all of 45 seconds to install my California special grilles. Yanked off the old with a single good tug, and pushed the new ones right into place.

A 2013 V6 Pony package you can't just yank it out. Not the top half at least.

Finally got the link working... Yea I didn't wanna break anything so I just took of the bumper. Took about an hour. I want to leave it like this but I might go the CDC route or either gut a GT grille between the fog light housings.

If you decide to remove the grill the way Danielle suggests it works great but i suggest a layer of painters tape on the bumper (below the grill) to protect it. Just in case. I didnt and i have some light scratches that bug me to this day because if it.

I've yanked mine twice on our GT500. The secret is that the temperature should be around 70 degrees F to make sure the bumper hoops flex instead of break.
