Question Cyclone badge on Roush Grille - '13

I just recently installed my Roush upper and lower grille on my '13. I love it. I would LOVE to add my Cyclone badge to it, however. This is the badge: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-FORD-MUSTANG-V6-3-7L-CYCLONE-ENGINE-THIN-ALUMINUM-EMBLEMS-LOGO-BADGES-RED-/110977398063?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d6c4b52f&vxp=mtr
I wanted to put it on one of the middle/lower bars on the grille just about where the stock Roush logo is. The only thing is, I need a way for it to stay. It comes with an adhesive coating on the opposite side but it can't stay on because the space between the bars isn't small enough for them to stick to anything. A friend was saying to somehow glue a small plastic rectangular piece in between two of the bars and stick it on that. Can anyone weigh in on this? See the attachment for what I want it to look like.

Ill weigh in. Your friend has the right idea. If I were doing it I would look into making a channel piece that friction fits between the grille slats. It would only need to be the thickness of the badge. Hobby stores sell sheet styrene. Anyway, make a C channel with the upper/lower portion facing forward. Paint black. Apply badge then squeeze it into position between slats. Glue if needed. Should work well and be nearly invisible, especially if mounted as the one in the photo.
