Black wheels look the best on red, grabber blue, ghig, and black in my opinion. The contrast is too great for white. However, black wheels seem to be extremely popular these days. I'm sure their easier to clean than say chrome or polished aluminum perhaps. Black chrome looks pretty nice on certain colors.

Yep, I like them a lot on my Red Candy. I think it really depends on the "color scheme" of the car; I am going with red and black and I think it works. Check out the before and after pics; completely changes the attitude of the car.

However I like the gloss black or semi-gloss black wheels; the charcoal or flat black just look dirty all the time. Also I think they need a silver rim or a line around the rim to separate the wheel from the tire; otherwise the wheel and tire meld together to form a big black blob.

I like black wheels on some cars and don't like them on others, depends on the car color and the wheel. I've seen some black wheels on black cars that look great, others not so much.

Just go with what you like and don't care what anyone else thinks.

Love that old school deep dish rim.

Brake dust? What brand pads are you using? I have the chrome GT wheels, and ran the stock pads up to 50K....no brake dust. I now have a set of raybestos, and they don't create any dust on the rims either.

My wife's BMW? That car is a crop brake duster!

Because black wheels seem to be the most popular these days, they simply have lost their "pop" IMO.

75% or more of the muscle/rice runners these days have black wheels. Its getting boring.

BMW and MB, just euro cars in general seem to just coat the rims with rake dust like no other. Idk what compound theyre using for their pads but it cant be very durable.

The performance pads that comes with the Performance Package create a lot of dust for me. I hear the same complain with the Brembo pads.

Whatever boss 302's came with. But i'll be switching to carbotech xp12 during track events, and that can give you a nice thick coat of brake dust lol.

I've realized that on bmw's and MB's... especially the SUVs.

Oh very much sir. I had a set in mind for bronze/gold. I don't remember the brand now. I know I also wanted a nice charcoal set too, which I also forgot the name. Was it RTR?

IIRC, I remember you liking them. Another member has them on his Kona. They're a twin 7-spoke, similar to the RTRs.
