That looks awesome! How much does a can run? Can you get it at the local auto store? Haven't seen it around.

Hmm maybe I can use that to hit my wheel wells to stop that horrific sous when dirt gets kicked up... It says rubberized...

They're hard to find at home depot, not all of them have it. I know the Jericho store has them, but not all the time.

Use painters tape and then followed the groove carefully with a razor, peeled excess.

(didn't mean to post same pic again I thought I had one of the center covered)

Is that just one coat or you let it dry and hit it a few times

when I do this, I think I want to either paint the inner or outer ring black instead of the whole thing. problem is, I can't decide which to paint! will use regular auto paint b/c I want it to be shiny.

BTW: I plastidipped my winter wheels and that stuff is really durable.

One light coat, it's going to look spotted, waited 15 to 20 seconds then hit it up with a medium coat, give it 30 seconds another medium to heavy coat. The key is once you think you have an even and heavy coverage to peel the tape before the plastic dip bonds to it. If you don't you'll have to run a razor on the edges when you peel the tape because the plastic dip will pull right off with it.

Yeah high pressure just don't obviously put the high pressure right on it. I'm always careful when wiping it but the stuff is pretty good. I wash the car once a week, so it holds up pretty good.

I taped the whole thing then I straight edged and razor cut the stripes. Then I peeled off everything but the stripes and dipped. Once the dip was on good and still wet I peeled the tape so the dip wouldn't bond.

Here is what I have on the car now

Go ahead and put 5.0 there. Who cares if it's a 4.6? I sure don't.
