Billet Grille

Can anyone share their experience with AM's black billet grille (upper and lower) kit? Are their any alternatives you would recommend? How is the quality, install? Did you keep your fog lights?

Also, does it work with Craig's Custom license plate bracket? I already have one (love it) and would hate to have to drill my front bumper.

Any pictures would be great. Thanks in advance!

This is the billet grill from American muscle, they recommend removing the bumper, but I just pulled it out and got lucky that I didn't break any tabs. Highly recommend this grill, pretty simple to install, I also recently added the lower fog lights, the front end looks a lot nicer and cleaner now

That combo looks great! Thanks for the pics. How did you manage to get the stock grille off without removing the bumper? That sounds so much easier.

I installed the black billet grill on my 2012 Kona GT, removed the factory fogs, and added the CS front fascia w/fogs. All from AM. NOTE: The fogs with the CS fascia are a joke and I can't find any replacements. I had PIAA's in my '04 GT and loved 'em!

Yes the bottom grille is an over lay, it's secured with 2 butterfly screws, as far as removing the grille, with out removing the bumper ur going to have to pull the honey comb out,( there's a vid on you tube) then just install the billet grill, it wasn't hard, just a little time consuming.

It's a good quality grill, I took the front clip off the car beacuse I wanted to relocate the fog lights. Wish the lower was a replacement like the upper instead of an overlay:

I've been looking all over for the video you stated that's on YouTube but cannot seem to locate it. Any chance you or anyone else has that link?

Thanks

I've been wondering about the one offered by Cervini's ? I want to relocate the fogs with a Boss lower valance and splitter and run a billet grille without the pony or move the tri bar pony to the right (passenger) side so the inlet for the factory air box will be unobstructed. Looks like ill have to give them a call
