I'm really thinking about taking the retro thing further, and replacing the modern 5.0 badges with some kind of retro badging. I was thinking of the old V with "high output 302" or even something that just replaces the 5.0 with 302.
Another option would be from around '68 or so when it was a running horse on either side of the car with "302" near the top.
anyone ever do something cool like this?

I've got the 60's style badges to put on the fenders still. Also redid my faux gas cap with one from SilverHorse and an old school V8 styled emblem from on to affix in the center of the cap. The medallion is the basic door in black with an anondized ring and the reproduction emblem on it is the style you'd find a '32 Ford.
Also got a couple of GT emblem badges that are just the actual letters one above the other which I'm going to affix somewhere else.
