Antenna Cover/Plug?

I have never and will never use a radio. Other than these short, stubby antennas, anyone aware of a screw-in plug or cover that will just go over the top of the antenna hole? Sort of like a black cover? I don't want it to look ghetto, though!

So the options are a tower or a stub, huh?

I've considered removing the antenna and using a hidden one inside the back window.

My thought for filling the hole is something a buddy of mine once did to his '73 vette when he removed the luggage rack. What he did was weld a flat round steel plug to a threaded stud, then painted the top, stuck it in the hole with sealer on the bottom of the plug and threaded a nut and washer on the bottom to attach it.

Obviously you could see it on the body but it wasn't too obtrusive and cost tons less than doing the complicated body work to permanently fill the hole, plus it is able to be easily reversed if you wanted to put it back.

If you do, still keep the parts and wires in place in case you change your mind or need to sell.

Sounds like I'd make a fortune off of manufacturing an easier, less complicated plug that screws into the hole.

Yeah, you can sell it to the millions of owners who derive their personal sense of self-worth from their lifelong commitment to not using radios.

Seriously?

Funny thread.
Seriously OP, just google mustang antenna delete. It's even easier than making a thread. And apparently less painful.

****...if I knew what to search, I would have. Googled "antenna cover" before posting this thread and nothing came up. Thanks!

Wonder if the below would work on the 2013 Mustang. It claims to work all the way through 2009, but when you filter products on the right based on 2010-2013 models, it shows up in the item list. Thoughts anyone?
