Another grill is attacked with PlastiDip

Finally grabbed a can of PlastiDip and blacked out the front grill chrome parts of my 2012 Premium Pony V6. (First pic is after one coat. Liked the way it looked like black chrome from a distance at that point.)

Setup an umbrella because it was almost 90 degrees, and then it poured rain about 20 minutes after I finished. Did five thin coats with 15-20 minutes between them. Still had a little over spray on the sides, but wiped off easy.

Will see how it holds up under bug attack this summer, but I think it looks cool. I cheap place holder until I change the grill out down the road.

Looks Good! Bugs should come off with a little non-direct power washing but i would not spray any bug remover on the Dip, it will peel right off.

Thanks. Appreciate the tip on the bug remover. Not looking to do it again that fast.
