NICE....did you have SHR paint it or is that something you had done after you received the part?
I was thinking of doing something similar. Looks great!

Looks good I've gone back and forth on ordering one of these. On the one hand they look really good especially color matched like yours but I also like how the stock one just blends in.

Thanks
SHR did the paint job. I was amazed how the paint matched perfectly.

I like it. Looks great!!

I wish they would paint mine. I have a black one and just sent it back (second time now in less than 1 year) because the electroplating is fading. It ends up looking purple.

I have only hand washed the car and I only used soap and water. At least with paint you wouldnt have to worry about UV rays fading it in a matter of months.

Im very happy with SHR though.....they are stepping up to help with the issue.

Hopefully #3 will last....

I like it! It would be even better, IMO, if the 5.0 was filled in with black.

No doubt it's sharp looking. I'll stick with stock as I prefer the look for me. But, it looks pretty outstanding on your car. Enjoy the modding.

color matching definitely looks like the way to go. you don't want the door to stand out too much.

Any anodizing is going to fade under constant UV exposure, so the black will always turn purple no matter what.

I thought about that, and a friend of mine said it would look better if I matched it to the 5.0 on the front fender.

Use Plasti-Dip to paint it in. If you don't like it, then just peel it off. If you do, you can always make it permanent with some other paint. Personally, I wouldn't want it chromed. The front emblems are enough IMHO.

Or you could just leave it as-is. Looks great either way!
