You could always just plasti-dip them. That's what I've done on mine, and it looks fantastic!
And where there is a little roughness on the left side was gone after I re-did it.

Get yourself a can of VHT Nightshades (Spray tint), mask off the fron ones (They are mounted pretty good to the front clip and I could not get them off without removing the front clip), then pop out the rears and paint them. They will still allow light through if you do only a few coats rather than plastidip which makes them useless.

I did 2 layers of plasti-dip on my car, and it blends with the paint nicely, and let's plenty of light through. I get nothing but positive comments on them all the time!

Did you do the fronts with plasti dip too?

Also how is using VHT? Is it a pain to get smooth and factory looking? I hear people have had to wet sand and buff to get it to look good.

I did. They look the exact same, only are orange instead of red with the lights on.

Just put paper in a square around the light. If some gets on the car, it's fine. You just peel it off.

I did 2 light coats. It came out 100% smooth. No bumps. When the lights are on, you can clearly see them. Just looks like there is tint.

There are literally no limits to what you can do with plasti-dip. It's insane!

Please excuse the bug guts.

Nice looks good. However I have tint film on mine but the guy rushed and it's sloppy and not even.

That tint isn't gonna peel off easily now is it lol

Not at all. That's why I like the plasti-dip. If u didn't like it, I could just peel it back up.

Is it even possible to get the adhesive left behind from tints off of a lense??? And he didn't cut them right so some of its on the paint around the lense. He did it for free with my tints so I guess that meant a quick crappy job was in order

Well, I guess it's one of those 'you pay what you get for' type things, but I feel like even if I was doing it for free, I'd stay make it my best.

Yeah seriously. And I didn't think about the crap tint leaves behind. Although it is exterior film, maybe it's not so harsh. I was thinking If I peel it off the lenses would be trash.

Goo Gone will get the adhesive off the lenses. I used the Night Shades on the rears and couldn't get the fronts off so I'm going to mask everything off and spray them while they are on the car. I want to be able to hit them with wax so that's why I'm not PlastiDipping them. Your car looks great. I smoked the rear reflectors on the skirt too.
