What's the point of those cutouts? Seems like cups to collect dirt in.

I like them but was a little apprehensive when CDC said they wanted to put them on my car as part of the package I won from them. Once it was installed I was relieved that I liked the look.

And coyote5-0 -- so some people don't like it, so what. Some people like all black wheels but I wouldn't put that on my car because I don't like the look. Your car, your money paying for it, and if you like the CDC-RTR license plate surround then that is what matters. If everyone liked every potential mod then our Mustangs would be pretty boring with one after another looking exactly like the last one that you saw.

I think they look good too! Better than stock. Now that I think of it, they would look even better with flames shooting out of them. Oh Yeah! I gotta get me some of those!

Now look what you've started!!!

That made me laugh - thanks, now just need the flames coming out of them.

I think this mustang had the exhaust tips relocated.

I'll never look at the back of a Mustang the same again.

I'm picturing little Sally Sue Who (who is only two) asking her father as they walk by that car...

"Why, daddy, why... why would someone do that to a car?"

The tailpipes through the license plate surround has the potential to look less than awful... and I'm sure it took a lot of work- but why would you choose that awful Richard Petty blue and then add ORANGE?

The government should have some sort of agency that looks out for the welfare of Mustangs (now I'm picturing Tommy Lee Jones in a black outfit saying "Just hand me the keys, son- and step away from the car.").

Its his car, and if he wants to... but no, some things should just not be allowed!

I'd like to have smooth flat body color covers to go on either side of the license plate opening. This is one of my least favorite areas on the 13-14 Mustang.

That might be cool. I thought about gettin the existing piece there now painted gloss back to compliment the blackout panel.

I love the tail lights, but I never liked the rear of the '13-'14 because of it. That's why I got a '12 rear bumper instead.

I have it on my car. I will agree in photos they dont look too hot but in person they look so sick. There isn't much dirt that collects there and the cutting is a piece of cake. It's worth it. Changes the rear for sure

Looks good! Black with black looks real good. I may paint my factory parts flat SGM (no gloss) to match my paint to start and if I don't like that I may invest in these.

So a question: How did you go about removing the factory insert(s). Did it come off without breaking clips?

I thinks the rtr plate surround looks pretty sharp. It's a pretty cool upgrade because the stock ribbed part around the plate just doesn't match the flat decklid. Although, i did see on AM new project mmd car, it looked liked thy may be coming out with a new ribbed decklid to match now. Any thoughts?
