2013-14 rear plate recessed pockets

Dont really know how else to describe this. Saw these on a 2013+ at Cars and Coffee, but I never took a picture. Basically they were individual plastic recessed pockets on each side of the rear plate instead of the flat plastic with horizontal slats. At first I thought they were stock on the gt500's but that is not true. They look familiar but aren't on the Roush or saleens according to the pictures I looked at online. Anybody know where I can get these?

I believe you're talking about RTR surround ducts... here's a link to them on AmericanMuscle... http://www.americanmuscle.com/rtr-li...ound-2013.html

Mine are the ClassicDesignConcepts.com RTR surround, same as the link to American Muscle above.

Ditto. Why draw even more attention to that area?

Yes! This is exactly what I was talking about. Thanks guys!!

And I think they look great. You'd have to see them in person.

Me no likey even more than the giant black space it replaces. That license recess is the one thing I just can't get past on the '13-'14 design.

I'm assuming you guys haven't seen them in person. After seeing they are $220...I may have to think twice though.

You also have to cut your rear bumper cover to install them.

I would not want to handle that task.
That answered a question I've had for a while regarding how they instal. Thanks for posting that link bro!

Yes but it's the emotional scars of cutting into your beloved that can never be undone. Lol

I want to get them and run four 1" pipes through each of them! (Not really, I think I'll do one ricer fart can through each one of them instead.)

Looks like two mail boxes - no thanks. Someone needs to make one that flushes to the bumper and to the plate that can be paint matched to get rid of the euro plate void.

I love my rtr panel op when combined with the smooth cf blackout and painted taillight covers it's sleek imo
Here's the stock insert with the cdc classic ribbed blackout

Then the rtr vented insert&trufiber blackout*which btw cutting the area for installation is a piece of cake, heck I wrote an install guide that cj pony parts now uses*

What the hell is that in the first pic? It looks like a single ricer exhaust.
