2011 Mustang Gt Coupe Stripes

I recently ordered some stripes for my mustang. I ordered a hood stripe, reverse boss-like c-styles stripes and trunk decklid blackout stripe. They are all in matte (flat) black. I bought them on ebay motors from vendor "promotorstripes". These guys are great with excellent customer service and quick responses via email. Highly recommend! So far I have just installed the hood stripe. What do you think?

Looks good! Did you do it yourself? If so can you do a small write up? My hood needs to be re-done real soon and I'm debating if i want to do it myself.

When I've done big decals you wet the hood with soap and water and then position the decal and squeggee the bubbles out. Really easy actually so long as you have a good point of reference for centering the stripes

Patience, lots of patience! I sprayed soapy water all over the hood and on the underside of the decal. I constantly moved and sprayed the hood and underside of the decal until it was centered on the hood. I then used the plastic credit card size tool that was included with the decal. I used the tool to remove the water from underneath of the decal and started from the center and worked my way to the sides of the decal. Air bubbles were squeezed out to the sides of the decal. I used a small needle to remove the air bubbles that were not removed with the tool by gently poking the air bubble with the needle and squeezing the air out.

What the heck. Gonna give it a shot. Graphic Express is just up the road from me. So Saturday going up with the car, and some ideas for them to look at, and see if doable, or if they have something in stock similar to my idea.

Thanks for the info folks

If you don't do them yourself I know a good guy. He's going to re-do my hood.
