Sounds nice! IMHO Kona Blue is an awesome color on the 2010. I really liked the sterling also, I thought the interior color and the glass roof looked very classy in person.
Hopefully FRPP will offer the 19" GT500 wheels at a reasonable price. One of the FRPP reps. said the GT500 19"s are a forged wheel and expensive to produce.

I think a set of the Gt500 rims are going to find their way onto my bullitt in the future. Those are BA.

Yeah, I agree the black ones would look nice. What made you say 19's were on the way?

Nick from American Muscle (the company selling these wheels) stated,

"The 18x9's should be here today and up on the site shortly with glorious pictures. 18x10 and 19" sizes will be here in a few weeks. We'll have them in 5-lug for 94-04 and 05-10 offsets/backspacings."

They haven't tested them on a GT500 or a mustang with the big brake kit yet. So they are going the safe route and saying they won't until they test them.

I was about to add that to this thread. I liked them, but they are saying it doesn't fit the GT500 (I don't have a GT500, but I have the brembo brakes setup ready to be installed and the TSW Thruxton's won't fit with the brembos).

Hopefully it does fit and they are just saying that it doesn't because it hasn't been tested yet...

Yeah, I think you're right. I'd have to see in person but it looks a little dark. Maybe when they get the 19's in they'll be Anthracite???

I also have to say that the lack of angle on the spokes is definitely noticeable on the car (vs. the angled spokes on the "official" GT500 wheels).

I was at the dealer yesterday looking (drooling) at the GT500 wheels. Those things are PERFECT.

Have any of our part department friends been able to find a set of 2010 GT500 wheels on their system yet? They have to be available in case a current owner damages a wheel and needs it replaced. The design and solor of the actual wheel looks much better than the replica.

There's a set on eBay right now. The last set I saw on there went for $2100 shipped.

Kinda makes those knock-offs look better.

Give it a little time, the genuine article will pop up either in the Ford Accessories catalog or through Ford Racing with a different part # and a lower price than as a service replacement,

I don't understand why AM would do a replica GT500 wheel that doesn't fit the GT500... doesn't make a whole lot of sense

I saw a set of "accurate" replicas at SEMA. Think it was in the OE Replica Wheels booth, but I am not sure.

We will have other knock off options though -- and ones that look just like the GT500 wheels (not a close proximity).

Didn't get size info though.
