2010-2014 Mustang grille take off and install*
Yeah I saw that video but apparently the seller of this grille told me to "yank and pull" my current one and install the new one? Sounds a little...stone age to me lol
This seems like too much work too as I've seen people say you can take the grille off and put a new one in since it's held by clips?
I'm just curious to see anyone else's input on this.

I was really nervous at first with the GT500. When I saw how easy it was, I'm glad I didn't go through all the trouble of taking the entire front end off the car.
Remember, this works best if you pull locally at each clip location; don't just try to pull the entire grill out at once.
Good luck to all who try this. You may want to put some tape on the paint in front of the grill before removing it to minimize any scratching that might happen when you pull the grill out.

I yanked the grill out of our GT500. I thought I took pictures of the clips but I did not. Just look where the tabs are on your replacement grill and carefully pull the grill in each of those locations until you hear the clip snap out. The receiving clips are actually a hoop on the edge of the bumper and are made of the same soft material as the bumper. They will stretch and release the tab.

Thanks but yep that's how I did it!
Can you describe what the "grille surround" is? I'm sorry for the dumb questions, but I ordered my car through Overseas Military Sales (I'm in Southwest Asia currently) and I have some spare time on my hands, but nothing to physically inspect.
Hope that all makes sense.
Is this the part you are talking about? http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-gril.../p/DR3Z8419BA/
Do not buy it from there.
