Alright. Just left the shop, and the bottom edge was a little off, and I had them adjust the size of the reverse lights. These are going to be KILLER!!
Should have the final product on my car and up on here tomorrow (tuesday the 17th) or Wednesday the 18th.

I'm pretty sure that vinyl on the tail lights would be illegal as well. If they didn't come from the factory like that, the cop isn't going to want to hear it. Then your going to have angry customers saying they want you to pay their ticket because you didn't tell them it was possibly illegal ect...

1. He would post a notice or disclaimer to notify potential buyers that theod can potentially be illegal in their state.
2. Buyers would know or at least check on their laws in their state to see if the vinyls would be legal

I'm sure Mustang owners are smart enough to know that they need to check into local laws concerning these things. American Muscle and all the other big aftermarket suppliers sell similar products that everyone buys with disclaimers.....

Like I have said in past posts, I will be starting a seperate thread once these are released. I will have all information including a disclaimer concerning such matters of this being potentially illegal in their state. As with the tail light tint, this will more than likely be illegal, but at a police officers discretion. Every officer that I have checked with in the Fort Worth area, has said they see nothing wrong with the design. It lets plenty of light through, it allows the factory lens to be seen along with the factory lens reflectors.
If you personally have an issue with them, then please by all means don't order them. My feelings will not be hurt. In no way am I looking to actually make any money off of this, I just want to share my design with everyone. I know personally as soon as I saw the 2013 tails, I wanted them. This is close enough for me until something else better comes out.
I just left the vinyl shop, and it looks like its going to be next Monday. I'm sorry to everyone waiting on these, trust me, I'm even more anxious than you are. :P
The samples that I have put on my car looked soooo good! They just didn't cover the whole front of the lens.
Just letting you all know, these will leave the outside edge open just like the tint does. I would recommend the tail light trim that I know AmericanMuscle offers. I'm looking into making a combo deal for y'all, just don't know how much that would affect the price because those are like $135.
I thank everyone for their support, and the continued anticipation of these! It should be a great product!
UPDATE TO COME!!

These tail lights won't function like the 13's as well, which creates a safety risk. In all honesty, and I'm just trying to help. If I were the op, I wouldn't be willing to take the risk of selling these to people unless i had a lawyer prepare my disclaimer. Larger companies have their own legal and risk management teams for similar situations. How's that for buzz kill : /
