I got some of the largest ones I could find @ autozone, but apparently still weren't what I needed. I will go back though and try some more stuff.

I would have had time to pop it on and go to the parts store if i needed anything, but it seems my girlfriend is extra needy, and when I get home I can't immediately start to work on the car. She needs her required attention (and for us to have dinner first)

I see the jealousy thing starting already.

Seeing this thread just reminds me why I'd want the actual fascia, and not trying to adapt the two together. It's the little things that make me not want to try this.

I would agree here, but I also don't want to replace my entire bumper.

This is where I wish Ford would have made the rear diffuser section interchangeable between all models. I'd be interested to know why they chose to fully paint the V6 and GT, instead of a small black plastic center diffuser.

^I thought you we're supposed to use the two side holes underneath to secure the diffuser? They are there on my 2013 one hole each side that you can tell the boss&gt500 diffusers use to secure it.
Once bolted up it will probably push the diffuser up where you want it to be?

Total underside spots for diffuser attachment on the B302 diffuser is six.

Diffuser makes a difference, lol - I was told today that I had a sweet looking Shelby from a passerby today. :-)

Someone else here painted their GT lower black and it looked great on their white car. I'll find pictures when I get home.

I'm still thinking that if/when I get a '13/14 I'm going to do spoiler delete and GT500 diffuser and quad tip exhaust. That's a look that's hard to beat.

I have the cdc blackout and I'm doing the big oval dual tips like on the gt350.
Fyi that white car is a member on here and he plastidipped it along with his hood vents&other various items.

It's funny how that lower painted valence is a highlighted styling cue for the 13's yet most of the owners are wishing it were the flat plastic like the prior years.

I agree that the black plastic looks better. Not big on painted rockers either.

Sounds like a plan. You should move and fill the Sirius antenna spot too. Make that trunk as smooth as possible!

removing the rear bumper.

-remove rear wheels (unless you have tight angle screw driver)
-remove mud flaps
-remove trunk cover
-remove taillights
-disconnect wires
-yank off bumper... carefully from each clip in location

so the good news is there is some factory lines on the back of the bumper where you need to cut for the diffuser... the good news, you gonna have to chop up your perfectly new bumper lol.

i went with a bread knife as i didnt want to bust out any saw air tools and start up compressor and make noise everywhere, it worked for me just fine !

for the tab holes i drilled holes on the edges and then trimmed the rest of the hole. all lined up just fine and diffuser popped right now, with a few needed clips from the dealer at $1 a piece (7-8 total needed)

edges of a diffusred are held with a bracket and a screw
