13' cali special grill removal

Anyone done this yet? Does it pull straight out like the stock gt grill? I want to remove the tribar pony emblem but don't want to damage the grill.

I did it to the MCA which is the same but silver, start at either left or right side there's just simple clips. It's gonna sound like you break it though but there won't e any damage if you work your way around one at a time. And the pony jut has two screws you undo from the back. No holes or lines after you take it out. Hope it helped.

I did break one of mine when I swapped in the Eleanor 'style' a couple weeks ago. Or maybe it was already broken... everytime I touched the grille it seemed to 'rattle' too much.

Your car is beautiful! Just another confirmation that I picked the BEST color :-)

Where did you get your hood scoop?

I kinda like it better with it on, but to each his or her own. Got a Cali grille on the way for my car and I plan to leave the pony on.

By the way, you don't need to pull out the grill to remove the grill emblem. You can remove the bottom plastic panel under the car and you will have access to the back of the grill and using a 13mm socket.

DivaDanielle,
Did you end up putting on your California grilles? Top and bottom? I want to replace my stock V6 grilles with the California ones. Did you do it yourself?
