White decklid panel, on black mustang
White decklid panel, on black mustang
We have all seen the black deckled panel on the Mustang, but what about getting one painted white and throwing it on my 2012 black V6?? I have been unable to find any pictures online, thinking either 1) this has never been done or 2) it wouldn't be a good look.
Thoughts??

The idea is good if you want to be different but if it is the only white on your car I would agree with others to not do it. Now if you have other accents like a dark gray wheel, then a dark gray wouldn't be bad. Just enough to be different but still not bold enough to be an outcast.
I did this on my black 05 gt using a dg customs blackout panel painted matte white, along with the fuel door matte white, a gt500 white spoiler, painted covers on 2010 mirrors, white c stripes.
To finish it off I'm thinking of doing the brembo wheels in plasti dip matte white and when I install it the 2010 gt500 hood vent in matte white
Down the road I may do the roof in plasti dip the license plate area, and my front custom mesh grilles.
In short I say do it man this is just my .02c at least it will be different then everyone else's cookie cutter lowered using eibach springs, with chrome bullitts and flowmaster mufflers with dual racing stripes mustangs.
