Sorry for the stupid question but I just put a CAI on my 2013 Mustang and was wondering if the air inlet is at the upper or lower grill. I am trying to decide on a replacement grill and this will help.

Far right side of upper grill, as you're facing the front of the car. The stock air box has a duct that gets fed from this area. I don't know which CAI you purchased, but I would think it has some instructions included regarding this. Hope that helps.

The CAI is installed. I am trying to decide on a new grill and want to increase the flow to the CAI. The replacement grill I am looking at has a full replacement upper and an overlay lower so as long as the inlet is at the upper grill I'm good.
