from 382 to 368...that's like a 14 hp loss.. unreal for stock filter vs k&n filter.

MPG claims are as equally nonexistent. Half an MPG, maybe? Why bother spending the money?

What does "breathe better" even mean? If it's not raising horsepower or fuel economy by any appreciable or even noticeable amount, then who cares?

Also, you need to take the average of the runs, not just the highest and lowest from the totals. It's about a 4-5hp drop, which isn't too surprisingly, especially if the filter had too much oil on it. There's a reason they did more then one run, and that's so we can get an average and show that the performance drop is consistent over multiple instances.

I have to agree with you. I still have not purchased a replacement filter, but I'm not going to bother with the K&N.

That's what i'm saying, might be a problem with that specific filter. Of course every improvement, whether mpg, hp or both will be minuscule. You are paying $40 for that filter, what would you expect out of it?
