But wouldn't you have to consider that the larger outside diameter = a larger wheel circumference = a slightly greater distance traveled per each wheel revolution, which equals fewer rev's to drive a mile, and so on?
Also, it has been my impression that that outer circumference doesn't vary much, in that as wheel diameter increases, the size of the tire's sidewall decreases, which should in theory equalize to some degree the effect of 19" vs 17". Anyway, I have more questions than answers to this little word problem, but maybe someone can clarify for us. I DO know that increasing tire size on the same diameter wheel can result in more speed at the same engine RPM because of that outer circumference, so a speedometer recalibration is a good idea to keep the LEO's at bay!

My normal daily drive is pretty short and its always local stop and go. I think I see the Average MPG always reading out about 20 to 24 MPG. When on the highway I think its been 27 to 32.

Today driving at about 60 to 65 MPH for about 20 miles I was seeing an average of 38 to 44 MPG.

Normally before these mods when I used to fill the tank it would read out on the dash that I had 230 Miles until empty.

I stopped at a gas station after getting off the highway. It read 339 Miles until empty.
Pretty sweet results. Im wondering if anyone else here has seen results like this with these mods or similar mods?

Oh and one last thing. The iTSX tuner is pretty cool using the performance app on my iPhone. I may even take my car to English towns raceway park one night to really test it out.
My restaurant is right down the road from raceway park! Used to be called people's pizza now it's ristorante Maietta! Ps awesome results!

Ps I have the 3.31 gears and the manual with 18s and I'm averaging 21-23 mpg combined. I think some of you are over exaggerating the mpg loss
