Tune for 2011 V6 Automatic

I'm thinking about tuning my car. Which type of tune is best?

American Muscle/BAMA seems to have done the most testing on the 2011 V6 cars and has some very good tunes available. Plus when you buy the tuner from them you get unlimited free tunes so you can try all that they have and find the one that bests suits you.

We've done plenty of testing on V6 cars and can do pretty much anything you want from mild to aggressive.

Here is some feedback from a customer on a mild tune we did for him that was still nearly a 1/2 second faster in the 1/4 mile.

You could also look into our cold air/tuner combo which will be available within a week. See the link below for results. Check out the massive torque gain down low which is from the custom tuning.

Here is some more customer feedback on our tuning, although not directly V6 related, it does give you an idea what we are capable of.

Here's some videos of what we can do. We're definitely the leading company for 2011 V6 tunes at the current time. We went 13.64 today at 104mph with just an Airaid CAI and 93 Bama Race tune (stock was 14.1 @ 100mph with 93 octane). Stock other than that - stock 17" all season tires and 2.73 gears in our Automatic. Before we went 14.27 stock with 87 octane and 13.73 with nothing but a Bama 87 tune).

You have 3.31's and 18's... we have 2.73's and 17's. Should be pretty close. I'm gonna say 13.6-13.7 with a good launch.

We went 13.64 last weekend...

Definitely report back and let us know! Should be fun!

I was at the track from 6pm to just before midnight. Unfortunately, in all that time, I got to make only 2 passes with my wife's 2011 V6. Its best time was a 13.868 @ 102, which IMO is very respectable. As you can see from the timeslip below, there's room for improvement. I'm sure I could've done 1 or 2 tenths better with some practice launching. I also videotaped the run from inside the car with my camera just wedged under the headrest of the passenger's side front seat, which worked pretty good. I'll post the video soon.

Nice times! Your right, its all about the launch. All my local tracks have changed to 1/8th mile . I don't waste my time on them. I have two secluded locations i do my performance test.

The video is awesome. I have no doubt that you have .1-.15 left in that car. I'm saying 13.7 all day once you get used to how the car launches. Sick! Congrats...

We offer free tune updates for parts purchased through us, not from other vendors.
