Traction control

So I have been autocrossing my Mustang for a little over a year now. I always turn advancetrac all the way off before a run. My last Autocross run I noticed the traction control light came on next to the traction control light off indicator. Then on my final run, I felt the car cut power and thought it was odd. I look at my dash when I was finished and noticed traction control had turned itself back on... I don't turn my car off between runs and I didn't touch the button. Is it normal for this to happen?

Would a solution be to have Bama force the traction control to be off via a tune? I know MPT offers this as an option.

Below are some pics from the event

Thank in advance for any advise!

Maybe something is wrong with the traction control on your Mustang? I don't see how a tune would turn your traction control back on after turning it off. I don't use Bama tunes so i don't know if their tunes could do something like this

Did you turn of traction or advancedtrac? Did you by chance accidentally only do traction?

Ok, just checking. Wanted to make sure you didn't make a mistake.

I've turned both off and done burnouts, but I haven't tried tracking with them off. I've never seen it come back on.

Drag racing I don't seem to have a problem but tracking the car seems to make a difference and traction control isn't happy even when off.

I should check with the SCT tuner I have since it has the advancetrac off light on as well as the advancetrac error light on too. It probably threw a code. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.
